Black Mamas ATX, under the umbrella of the Steve Hicks School of Social Work, is currently hiring a LCSW.
Job Description:
The position is responsible for supporting Black Mamas ATX mothers navigating medical challenges, accessing community supports, and providing individual and group therapy with expertise in trauma-informed care. The social worker will deliver evidence-based parenting curriculum and other mental health and wellness workshops and classes to Black women before, during, and after pregnancy for one year postpartum to reduce maternal health disparities.
