Contact Us

The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health envisions a future in which all people in Texas thrive in communities that support mental health, achieve health equity, and promote well-being. In addition to strategic grantmaking, the foundation provides information, news, and resources so everyone can all play a role in transforming how communities promote mental health in everyday life.

The foundation is not a direct provider of mental health services. If you have a concern related to your mental health, or that of a loved one, seek the advice and support of a qualified professional. You can also find services, providers, and learn about the signs and symptoms of mental illness at mentalhealthtx.org (maintained by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission). If you need immediate assistance, call 911 or the 24-Hour National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

Directions and Parking

The foundation is located at 3001 Lake Austin Blvd., Austin, TX 78703 on the 4th floor of The University of Texas at Austin’s (UT Austin) Lake Austin Center.

A UT Austin permit is required to park in the lot.  Guests must:

  • Park in a marked “Visitor Parking” spot. (Those with an existing UT Austin permit may park in a “Any UT Parking Permit” spot. Do not park in a 15-minute spot unless you plan to leave within 15 minutes. If you have an official disability parking permit you still need a visitor parking permit to avoid a citation.)
  • Take the elevator to the 4th floor to obtain a visitor permit from the foundation’s receptionist.
  • Return to car to display the temporary permit in plain view on the dashboard.
