The Communities of Care initiative represents a transformative effort aimed at enhancing mental health and community resilience, particularly focused on children, youth, and families. Launched in 2019, a total of $11.5 million was awarded to eleven organizations in the Houston Metropolitan Statistical Area to support collaborative approaches to well-being.
