Have you registered for our free conference, “Quality Health Care for All: Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Disparities through Integrated Health Care”? Well, the good news is, you still can! With two weeks left until the event, we have finalized the agenda and we are excited to have national experts onboard to help lead the conference discussion.

What should you expect at the conference?

Two panel discussions will address integrated health care teams and the integrated health care workforce. The participants for both of these panels are highly respected in their fields and will provide promising practice approaches for eliminating disparities through integrated health care. Additionally, there will be two plenaries that will open and close the day. The opening plenary will address delivering integrated health care in racial and ethnic minority communities and the closing plenary will highlight next steps to advance this work.

I am also extremely excited about our lunch keynote presentation that will feature the affordable care act and provisions in the act that specifically address health disparities, and how these relate to your work in service delivery practice, program and policy.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in starting up or advancing integrated health care in their communities and service delivery settings! The program will be of primary interest to policy makers, advocates, behavioral and physical health care professionals and administrators, state agency leaders and staff, and health care consumers and youth and their family members.

Bonus

Besides learning from nationally recognized subject matter experts, marriage and family therapists, professional counselors and social workers are eligible to receive free continuing education units (CEUs) from the Hogg Foundation. You will also get a free lunch, get to be in Austin and enjoy networking with people from across the state.
