The foundation is pleased to announce that our executive director, Dr. Octavio N. Martinez, Jr., has been named to the Biden-Harris Administration COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force.
Ten organizations have been chosen for this special opportunity. The goal is to support mental health and wellness among African Americans in the Central Texas area.
Texas needs an office of health equity dedicated to collecting data and developing strategies to repair the damage that has been done.
In December, CZI announced a $7 million commitment to 5 community organizations, including Hogg.
