The Hogg Foundation is grateful to announce that it has provided emergency funds to seven food banks representing 92 counties in Texas.
While it may be the case that coronavirus doesn’t discriminate, people and health systems still do. The lack of public data means we cannot know for sure.
We are learning daily more and more about how this virus operates, but one thing that has become abundantly clear at this point in time is its predilection for individuals older than 60.
COVID-19 is unmasking our disparities, inequities, and discrimination towards each other. This unmasking is playing out in multiple arenas, one being behavioral health.
