4th Annual South Asian Mental Health Conference
Theme: Cultivating our Beauty

We are seeking proposals, which are informed by research, theory, and practice in South Asian mental health. This year, we want to showcase the beauty and diversity in South Asian mental health. Too often the diversity in cultural values, practice, and celebrations is not recognized. Thus, we are seeking proposals that will allow attendees to reflect on the uniqueness and gems that lie in the community. We are looking for proposals, which address spirituality, religion, traditional forms of healing, culturally sensitive interventions/research practice, and community grassroots/social justice practice. We are also looking for art, clinical, research, and community grassroots submission. We would like to provide a conference where students, professors, providers, and researchers can connect and learn from each other. Proposals can be submitted by any individuals in the mental health field (undergraduate students, graduate students, professionals, etc).
