Program Officer Rick Ybarra and I are headed to Dallas this weekend! However, unlike many other Austinites who will be traveling northbound on IH-35, we won’t be attending the Texas-Oklahoma game or the state fair. We will be gathering with social workers from all over the state for the 2011 annual conference of the Texas chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
We’re looking forward to talking about integrated health care and cultural competency and to meeting with the recipients of the Hogg Foundation’s bilingual scholarships.
