Healing History: Community Conversation series

Healing History is a tribute to diversity and music in Bastrop County. This series is aimed at creating healing conversations and high-quality musical experiences to overcome the cross-cultural miscommunication that permeates our societal systems. It is through shared human experiences that we desire to create inclusive approaches to resilience and the arts. With a focus on youth and survivors of trauma (historical and other), Healing History will work from a trauma-informed perspective to guide change for Bastrop County.

The first event is January 24th, 6-8pm at the Jerry Fay Wilhelm Performing Arts Center in Bastrop. FREE, with a spoken word performance by Joe Brundidge, and music by James Robinson and Band.
