Education
Promoting learning among practitioners, policymakers, and community organizations.Education plays a critical role in moving research and innovation toward lasting change. The foundation is committed to promoting learning among practitioners, policymakers, and community organizations through workshops, learning collaboratives, toolkits, and other resources. Through these efforts, the foundation encourages the adoption of promising approaches and best practices by peer specialists, clinical practitioners, and other professionals across the state. By investing in education, the foundation seeks to strengthen the capacity of the mental health ecosystem and support ongoing professional development.
Building capacity, in its broadest sense, is the process of strengthening a non-profit’s ability to achieve goals and adapt to change by developing skills, resources, and processes that will help each person or group on their journey.
