The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health announces Dr. Jocelyn Sargent as its new Research and Evaluation Program Officer. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Michigan, Sargent joins the foundation after working as a program officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
Executive Director Elected to National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services
Dr. Octavio N. Martinez, Jr., executive director of the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health and associate vice president for diversity and community engagement at The University of Texas at Austin, has been appointed to the National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
