Texas Appleseed is the lead organization on the Texas Mental Health Code Project, a grant funded by the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health. The goal of this project is a thorough review of the Texas Mental Health Code and development of a report that will identify issues and recommend changes needed to bring the code up-to-date, remove inconsistencies, standardize practices, and better reflect mental health policies and practices in Texas.
