With less than a month left until the seminar, registration is quickly filling up for “Young Minds Matter: Transition-Age Youth!” As soon as the event reaches capacity (400), we will be closing registration and starting a waiting list. If you plan on attending, register today!
The one-day seminar will be held at the Bayou City Event Center in Houston on April 3. This free seminar will focus on transition-age youth (TAY), young adults between ages 14 and 24.
The transitional period from youth to adulthood, school to employment, dependence to independence can be stressful and troublesome for all young adults. This transitional time can be particularly difficult for youth living with mental health conditions and their families. TAY are faced with additional challenges as they navigate the complexity of finding new mental health care and support, employment and housing.
This seminar will address these challenges and highlight strategies for successfully transitioning youth.
With three engaging panels and a dynamic keynote speaker, Young Minds Matter will be packed with helpful information. Check out the agenda for more details. We hope to see you there!
