Evaluation: Texas Mental Health Resource

Overview

Via Hope was created in February 2009 as a statewide mental health resource whose mission is to provide a diverse array of educational and training programs to advance recovery in Texas. These programs include the Peer Run Organizations Program, family partner training and certification, peer specialist training and certification, consumer and youth engagement, and the Recovery Institute. Via Hope is funded jointly by the Department of State Health Services and the Hogg Foundation.

Several Via Hope programs recently underwent formal evaluation by researchers in the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health at the University of Texas at Austin. The evaluation supports our strong conviction that Via Hope is making a positive and lasting contribution to advancing recovery in Texas.
