Here’s a snapshot of the presentations made, events hosted, and honors received by the talented and dedicated staff of the Hogg Foundation during the month of November 2024.

Vicky Coffee

Vicky Coffee, director of foundation initiatives, co-hosted the Mental Health Mixer with Dream Together 2030‘s mental health team on November 14 in Austin. This special event brought together local clinicians, peers with lived experience, faith leaders, and community agency partners to network, make connections, and dream together for a healthier Austin and Central Texas.

Vicky also spoke at the Central Texas African American Family Support Conference’s (CTAAFSC) quarterly wellness series, the Together We Will Heal Forum, on November 20 in Austin. Focusing on the theme “Celebrating Spaces Where Black Mental Health Thrives”, this session reflected on the 25-year journey of the CTAAFSC in advancing mental health awareness within the Black community.
