Financing Integrated Health Care Nationally and in Texas

July 26, 2011

2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. central daylight time

Financing may be the most common perceived barrier to collaborative and integrated health care, yet these models can be funded right now in nearly every state, including both Medicaid fee-for-service and capitated states. Even with state-by-state differences in Medicaid programs, the complexity of Medicare billing, and uniqueness of health care coverage for those we serve, there are short-term solutions that allow programming to proceed and services to be provided in integrated programs.

This webinar presented several ways to fund collaborative care and integrated health care initiatives today. Attendees also learned about a free new financing worksheet developed for Texas that can serve as an example for other states.
