Integrated Health Care Patient Education Resources
In the collaborative care model, one of the clinical care manager's key functions is to educate patients about their psychiatric disorders and their treatment. Patient education empowers patients and gives them tools to understand and participate actively in their treatment.
Patient education materials have been developed for various disorders and age groups. This page lists a selection of brochures, fact sheets, and videos covering mental disorders commonly seen in primary care settings. Most can be downloaded or ordered for free.
This resource
list will be updated periodically. Please email laurie.alexander@austin.utexas.edu
