Policy-Related Opportunities
The foundation offers a variety of positions for current law, public affairs and social work graduate students throughout the year that focus on a variety of policy activities.
Summer Internships
The summer internship allows current law, public affairs and social work graduate students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of mental health policy while assisting the foundation in fulfilling its missions and goals. The typical internship is for 8 weeks (320 hours) and carries a stipend. (No current openings.)
Semester/Summer Internships for Course Credit
Internship opportunities are available to current law, public affairs and social work graduate students for course credit to deepen students’ knowledge and understanding of mental health policy while assisting the foundation in fulfilling its missions and goals. Registration for course credit must be coordinated by students through their respective school’s internship program.
Graduate Assistants
The foundation frequently hires students as research assistants. The hours are flexible and work can be done off-site, depending on the assignment. Tasks may range from researching emerging issues in mental health policy to tracking mental health-related legislation and regulations. (No current openings.)
